Sending Email via Processes
The MODLR function library has built-in functions for email notifications. The email functionality allows HTML messages to be sent out, and includes the ability to CC and send attachments. This gives the email functionality a wide range of uses.
The documentation for the email function can be found here.
Burst Reporting
MODLR's card system allows for the creation of custom reports which can be generated with varying contexts (e.g. a report generated for each department with their own values and KPIs). These custom reports can then be automatically emailed out to both users and non-users of MODLR creating a burst report that can be sent at the click of a button. Reports that are to be sent our regularly can set up to use the scheduling system allowing for a burst report system to be run automatically on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
Warning System
The email functionality can be utilised to warn admin users when an issue is occurring so it may be resolved. An example of this is when MODLR is connected to a system and the system becomes unresponsive to MODLR, a notification can be sent via email to relevant parties. This will allow the unresponsive system to be diagnosed and fixed so that reporting can be back up and running as quickly as possible.
General Notifications
The email system can be be used for general notifications like the budgeting period starting, or the end of month roll over.
