Apply New Header Labels Using Formula / Override A Header Label Using Formula
Replaces the displayed header text for each element in the working list with the result of a formula, instead of the element's name or alias. Useful when the dimension's naming doesn't produce the header text you actually want to show.
| Argument | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Formula | Formula | The formula to evaluate for each element in the working set |
Example
ELEMENT("Scenario") & " - " & ELEMENT("Time")Produces a combined header like Actual - 2024 Jan instead of showing Scenario and Time as two separate header rows. Since this replaces the header entirely, it's usually paired with Hide Dimension Headers to avoid showing the original headers alongside the custom one.
