# Keyboard Shortcuts

## Refreshing

These shortcuts work anywhere in Excel while the add-in is loaded. They are also shown in the tooltips of the Refresh buttons on the [ribbon](/excel-addin/ribbon-overview).

## Inside the add-in's windows

These shortcuts only work inside the add-in's own windows.

| Where | Shortcut | Action |
| :--- | :--- | :--- |
| Dimension window | `Ctrl+C` | Copies the selected elements |
| Model Explorer search box | `Esc` | Clears the search |
| Element search, in the selection and dimension pickers | `Enter` | Runs the search |
| Create Formula wizard, cell reference fields | `F4` | Locks or unlocks the cell reference, the same as `F4` in an Excel formula |
