# HIERARHCYHASMEMBER

Returns 1 if the element exists in the specified hierarchy or 0.

```js
HIERARHCYHASMEMBER(dimension, hierarchy, element)
```

#### Parameters

* `dimension` - The name of the dimension.
* `hierarchy` - The name of the hierarchy.
* `element` - The name of the element.

#### Examples

```js
HIERARHCYHASMEMBER("Time", "Year" "2018")
```

**Note:** Returns 1 if the element `2018` exists in the Year hierarchy of the Time dimension.
